Network Inclusion Leaders (NILE) is a network of emerging leaders of colour in Germany. The network was initiated in 2013 by Berlin-based civil society organisation EOTO e.V (Mr.Daniel Gyamerah) and the Integration Commisioner of the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district of Berlin (Ms. Gün Tank).
The goal of creating this Network was to facilitate the entry of diverse perspectives into democratic decision making processes in Germany. A new cohort of NILEs is selected every year, and join the network after a weeklong seminar in Berlin where they engage with role models from different sectors and receive leadership training. I am a member of the 2015 Cohort and an Inclusion Leader.
